So I really get bored easily and for some ridiculous reason I have this weird thing of putting my characters into other universes for kicks. Most often? Pokemon or 'Golden Compass'.
So yep. I won't even lie. Siarryn as a Pokemon trainer makes me laugh like woah. In my head he's probably a lazy-ish breeder/gambler who could care less about winning and far more about getting your xtransceiver code so he can give you a call later.
His pokemon are... A Persian, female, named Bounty, and a Pidgeotto named Gambit... and a Sentret.
DON'T JUDGE. I've had little else to do between classes than play Pokemon B2 and nap.
As for Golden Compass/His Dark Materials AU... I have a mad love for putting all my characters into that Universe because the concept of Daemons in there is something I love. Though Sia doesn't get very interesting because if he had a Daemon she'd be a Ring-tailed lemur.
Anyone else have opinions on this matter? Do any of you dream up AUs of any sort for your characters?

lol
Aleiph and Nasarin are both adapted Pokemon characters.
Nasarin's main Pokemon are Gardevoir and Blaziken, though he has a lot of psychic types. Aleiph has a fakemon unique to the site and an Emolga I love to write, though I play several variants of the same character across sites and that means different teams. Flareon and Bisharp are constants, though.
I figure Nyche would have a Liepard, though, if she were a Pokemon character.
Fun fact: Pokemon canons don't have much personality in the games so you can basically make the character your own. Have fun guessing who Nasarin and Aleiph are. Here's a hint: they aren't playable characters, rivals, or champions.

Zayin is also an adapted Pokemon character. His main Pokemon is Houndoom, which might give away wihch canon he was adapted from..... Also if you guess Aleiph, you can probably guess Zayin, since they're 'connected' sorta.
And uh, R'lar and Eavla are adopted from OCs I typically play in the Pokemon genre. Eavla uses largely electric types, R'lar has a variety of 'mon, he's none too picky about types or themes.

I've only ever AUed my pern characters into pern rps. I think it's interesting to see how they change depending on circumstances.

Hmmmm. It varies for me. I've been on my 'home' site for near on two years, so I've got characters that are so familiar to me that AU-ing them is easy. 'What would Kaine be like if she were a modern-day girl?' 'What would A'zel's job be if he were a normal (sane) human?" And the like...?
That and my c-box tends to explode now and then with silly OOC rp wherein the members spontaneously decide to Chat-rp our characters in Old West settings, Sci-fi settings, as Jedi Padawan... it gets very sill in the wee hours of the morning.
But fun.
