Sometimes, Rasui reflected as he made his way back to the Healing Chamber from the dining hall after lunch with Elidyr flying behind him projecting happy thoughts to him, it was easier to let Elidyr and others remember to eat then it was to remember himself. It wasn't healthy of course, he knew that after all he was a Master Healer but it was so easy to get caught up in what he was doing and forget about eating. Sometimes he was forced to ignore food in hopes of trying to heal someone enough that they didn't die in the next few minutes and that apparently was acceptable if after the event was over whether for good or ill he ate. Humming cheerfully under his breath he decided not to follow that train of thought as he entered the Chamber which was currently empty of any patients.

But not of people.
Serain was currently refilling one of the pots of herbs, having noticed that it was getting low earlier, and when Rasui entered, the boy merely glanced over to him before continuing what he was doing.
"Did you have a nice break?"
Not that the older healer hadn't needed one. He could be rather single minded when it came to healing patients.

Rasui nearly jumped when Serain spoke up, and he turned grinning brightly at the journeyman Healer. "It was wonderful, how have you been since I last saw you?" he asked warmly. "I should have asked if you wanted anything from the Dining Hall, I probably could have brought something back for you." He continued, sheepishly. Even though he was bad with taking care of himself he did look out for the other healers, because he couldn't have them collapsing when they were need most.

His mood was infectious, and Serain found himself smiling as he responded to the older healer. "I've been good. We had one of the kids in here with a scraped knee while you were gone, you know how Daken is. I think we see him more often for scraped knees than we do the rest of the brats put together."
Not that he wasn't fond of the small bear tailed kid.
"And it's fine. I had a late breakfast right before my shift started, and I've got some red fruit tucked away in my bag." He liked being prepared, since he never knew just what sort of day they'd end up having.
